Migraine
pain is caused by the expansion of blood vessels in the head. This expansion
of the blood vessels, causes inflammation on the tissues of the brain. Migraine
sufferers describe the pain as excruciating.
Symptoms of a migraine are nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and
sound, sever head pain, numbness, and difficulty communicating. A migraine
can last for several hours, days or weeks.
If you have migraines consult your physician immediately. He or she can
work with you to determine whether you have a migraine and what may trigger
the onset of your migraines. There are medications available that can
be discussed. Living with migraines is very serious. It affects a person's
well being. People suffering from migraines may loose time at work, have
trouble sleeping, unable to focus on relationships with family and friends,
and may have a hard time with every day daily activities.
