Immunization Recommendations

The vaccines infants, children, pre-teens, teens and adults need and when they should receive them.

Infants and Children

Immunizations for children are required by state and federal agencies. Babies need a full series of immunizations before the age of 2 years., with booster doses at school entrance.

Pre-teens and Teens

Children entering their teen years are recommended to received boosters shots or new immunizations. It is important to be sure they are still protected.

Requirements for Child Care/Preschools and Schools

Resources and information on what shots are needed for children to enter child care/preschools and schools in California according to the requirements of California School Immunization Law.

Adults (19 years and older)

Immunization protection is a lifelong need. Some immunizations you will need whether you are 19 years or entering your senior years.

Travel
