- You see them at community events and health fairs.
They assist families to access and apply for Medi
Cal,Healthy Families, Healthy Cubs, Access for Infants
and Mothers (AIM)
They speak: Spanish, Cambodian, Laotian, and Hmong

EDUCATION
Public Health Nurses and Community Health Workers
provide presentations to promote healthy pregnancies
and healthy children.
Some of the Topics: Fetal Development, Prenatal Care,
Pregnancy, What can Harm a Developing Fetus, Smoking
and Pregnancy, Post Partum Depression.
