Indigent Health Care Program








Stanislaus County offers these programs to indigent residents who would otherwise have little or no means of access to or coverage for medical services:

  • Medically Indigent Adult Program (MIA)
  • Expanded access programs for indigents (IDG)
  • Disability Evaluation Division (DED) Coverage
  • Healthy Cubs Program (HCP)

Link Medically Indigent Adult Program (MIA)
  Covers ages 21-64, citizens & legal residents
Link Expanded Access Program for Indigents (IDG)
  Covers medically indigent adults with restricted access
Link Disability Evaluation Division (DED)
  Covers medically indigent adults physically unable to work for more than 12 months
Link Healthy Cubs Program (HCP)
  Covers children under 6 and pregnant women
