All recommended vaccines are available at the Public Health Immunization Clinic. Currently, we offer 17 vaccines recommended to protect children or adults from diseases such as Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), Poliomyelitis, Haemophilus Influenzae type b (Hib), Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (German Measles), Varicella (Chickenpox), Pneumococcal, Hepatitis A, Influenza, Rotavirus, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), Meningococcal (meningitis) and Shingles. Eligibility for each vaccine depends on age. Note: COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines are available to anyone regardless of insurance status.

Through the Vaccine For Children Program, we can offer free or low-cost immunizations to children who are uninsured, underinsured, insured by Medi-Cal, and/or Native American/Native Alaskan. There is a $25.00 administrative fee for children who don’t qualify for the Vaccine For Children Program and uninsured adults; however, this will be waived if unable to pay. Payment is cash only at this time.

Currently, we do not accept private insurance for patients, even if they have a Medi-Cal managed health plan as a secondary.

An appointment is strongly recommended for all immunizations. Please call (209) 558–7700 for an appointment. A limited number of walk-in slots are available daily. If you can’t be seen, you will be given an appointment for a future date.

Yes, however, immunizations that are not in English or Spanish will need to be translated by a third party. Please verify when making your appointment.

Your child’s immunization record is very important! It will be needed for entry to childcare, Head Start, pre-schools, schools, and college. If you lose your child’s record, ask your healthcare provider to give you a new copy with all the immunizations recorded and properly documented. You can check the California Department of Public Health’s Digital Vaccine Record if your healthcare provider is in California. Please note that some or all of your vaccine doses were reported to the California Immunization Registry (CAIR) since it was not required for healthcare providers to report them until January 1st, 2023.

If you cannot get the information re-documented by your provider or through CAIR, your child may have to get the vaccines over again. To avoid starting over with vaccinations, please keep your child’s immunization record in a safe, secure place. For more information, please contact the Stanislaus County Immunization Program at (209) 558-7700.
